IT WAS a celebration of beauty, intelligence and empowerment for the 11 women participating in the grand finals of the 2014 Mrs Malaysia Globe pageant.
Organised by MW Network Sdn Bhd for the second year running, License by ERM Marketing Sdn Bhd, the competition provided a platform for married women to show their physical and inner beauty, regardless of age and occupation.
MW Network chief executive officer Angela Ngoo, said the pageant was open to wives, mothers and career women.

Josephine Lim Vonbee walked away with the coveted title of Mrs Malaysia Globe 2014.
Lim said it was her first time joining a beauty pageant and it had been an eye-opening experience.
“It’s not so much a physical celebration of beauty, but the overall package. It’s also an effective platform for highlighting social issues,” said the 25-year-old teacher who loves outdoor sports and is active in environmental projects.
“I am planning to use this opportunity for the causes I am involved in such as green-and- clean projects, marine and nature conservation, charity missions and helping victims of domestic violence,” she said.
Lim will be representing Malaysia in the 2014 Mrs Globe Pageant to be held in Palm Spring, California, USA.
