Miss Earth 2013 bets presented to media

The 13^th edition of Miss Earth in Muntinlupa City, Philippines will feature 94 candidates from all over the world.

Candidates for the Miss Earth 2013 pageant pose at the poolside during a press presentation at a hotel in Taguig City on Thursday, November 21. Coronation night will be on December 7 at Versailles Palace in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.

The winner of 2013 Miss Earth will serve as the Ambassador to environment protection campaigns worldwide. During her reign she will work alongside Miss Earth Organization to promise eco-tourism destination and address issues concerning the environment through street campaigns, speaking engagements, coastal clean-ups and other environmental activities.

A part of the Big Four international beauty pageants, Miss Earth is the only beauty contest that mainly focuses on promoting environmental awareness.

Miss Malaysia Earth 2013 was represented by Josephine Tan from Pahang, 23 years old and stands 1.78 m. She was crowned Miss Malaysia Earth 2013 at the conclusion of the pageant held at MH Hotels, Ipoh in Perak on July 21th, 2013.
