Phataraporn ‘First’ Wang, a 20-year-old Thai-Taiwanese, studies at Rangsit University’s Tourism and Services College. Standing 179cm tall, she also poses as a model for several magazines has been crowned Miss Intercontinental 2014 for the first time in Madgeburg, Germany on 4th Dec 2014.
The first runner-up was Jeslie Mergal from Cuba while the second runner-up was Kris Tiffany Janson from the Philippines. The other finalists were from South Africa, Portugal and Argentina.
Ms Phataraporn said she would do a lot of volunteer work in Nepal and all over the world. She also thinks it could be a good idea to stay in Germany during this year.
Seventy-two (72) contestants from around the world competed to win the title of Miss Intercontinental 2014, which was held for the 43rd year. Miss Intercontinental is a Panama-based international beauty pageantunder the World Beauty Organization.
Miss Malaysia Intercontinental 2014 was represented by Miss Nicole Bungan Langdon-Down, 20 years old freelance Model from Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
